Two Tasty Viogniers from Napa

Darioush 2009 Napa Valley Signature Viognier
$44.99

Bright and alluring fragrances of macadamia nut, guava and honeysuckle introduce the distinctive 2009 Signature Viognier. A notable crisp green apple acidity pleases the palate while delightful flavors of Asian pear, star fruit and white nectarine harmonize with a nuanced finish accented by orange zest, clove and toffee.

Winemaker's Comments
Our estate grown Viognier derives its unique style from a four-acre vineyard site in the Oak Knoll appellation. The cool micro-climate of the vineyard allows this temperamental varietal to slowly develop robust and concentrated floral and fruit characteristics. The fruit, and resulting wine, is minimally handled to express its pure and fragrant nature.

Organically Grown Grapes

$33.99

"Lovely aromas of white peaches, Bosc pears and honeysuckle are joined by hints of hardwoods in the rich and pulpy first impression. The wine is full bodied in weight and exceptionally well-balanced in spite of its evident viscosity. Its flavors are long and rich, pulpy and minerally, nicely on-point and promise to get better over time. Despite early charms, this one can be laid away for several years."
